With Jennifer’s encouragement and support, she has reignited my passion for art and helped me rediscover my belief in myself. Her knowledge and teaching style have taught me so much, and I continue to learn and grow with every class. The studio has become a place where I feel truly at home, surrounded by kind, creative, and like-minded people. The sense of community here is priceless, and I’m so grateful to be part of it.

Easel Experiences

For years, I have always wanted to paint. When I was young I drew a lot but stopped but the fascination with painting was there. I came across Jennifer’s name as a teacher while visiting the DeSerres store in Pointe Claire last March 2024. After talking this over with my wife, I decided to give it a try. I met with Jennifer and immediately liked her. She was very friendly and enthusiastic.

When I showed up to the first class, she made me feel comfortable and guided me on how and where to start. She lets you go to it! Passing by she would tell you then show you what you needed to do to complete the painting. Since these first sessions, I have been hooked on painting. While fully understanding that I will never be a Rembrandt, but I get better with every one I do with the help from Jennifer.

So now at the age of 72, Jennifer has helped make a dream come true for me.
